new center console for the red rocket
decided very spontaneously to Jonas, who comes from the older Polo center console to replace . After some swearing, cursing and narrow, fine motor hand movements was the old then out. They grabbed affixed the new, larger center console and more beautiful then. Thats has given new paint for the Aluschaltknauff and the rod.

Letter To Church Members
Done!
So, in time for confirmation is the quilt for the young lady finished. In the last week I made a little, but a bit of time was always at night to reattach to the binding by hand.
Now the Jewel Box quilt is ready for give away to a young lady. Her confirmation is in April. Last week I had not so much time to sew, only a few time to end the binding.

Healthy Shampoo Recipe
Swap defective brakes to the new interior!
The old man is leaving us, but that supplies are provided for. Our second VW Polo 86c has now had its day. It would not be rewarded even more to invest in it. One should stop when it is ... the most beautiful, so we may once again welcome a 2 person. With less than 100,000 km, new car and a light touch in the interior rear damage we have him now "our" name. He slept in a barn three years, protected by natural forces, vandalism and road salt. True to the motto "In rust we trust" it is trimmed in the coming weeks for the sun to chill out and Curis Rust'n Roll. Photos of our Golf 2 follow soon.

Rsv And Hole In Heart
consequences of motivation
Because I come to plan for my Diamond Quilt completely reviewed and amended did, it took me so again packed properly. It still lacked a couple of red and white blocks for the first round, and thanks to the method Maschinennäh the Ratz Fatz went out of hand. And today I sewed the blocks together and finished the first round! I think it looks great - and with my decisions, I can live very well if something comes of it!
After I changed my plan for my Diamond Quilt, I got a dynamic impulse. There were still some red and white blocks to sew, and due to the (new) way to sew with my machine, I finished them very quickly. Today I added the blocks and finished the first circle! I'm so hooked about the result!

Country , Breast Size
dark secrets
As (almost) any of us had, I of course mean skeletons in the closet - - - well, I speak of UFOs! But so are UFOs and UFOs ... those that were lying around really long periods, a miserable existence, and at some point (almost) forgotten (but unfortunately only almost). And then the other, which are not really UFOs, who see even in daylight, hoping for completion may - only then, after you had made a few small block has yet again to go into the crate. Most of those who work so names such as Nearly Insane , Baby Jane , Quilted Diamonds and the like. Even one of my bodies is a Quilted Diamond , euphoria after the books by Linda Franz
as I was, of course I started off on every block, I have sewn out book. So I at least knew when I started: The first block was created on 12-10-2007 on holiday on Sylt! And then a few blocks followed in quick succession ... created until the first gap. Since then it spills out in front of you ... The last hand-sewn Block (No. 51) was established on 08/09/2010.
A few weeks later, I once again dug out my finished Diamonds. I think the quilt is still wonderful, but now I see a lot more realistic:
First there is the size - 2.30 x 2.30 m is far too large! I would not know where to put it! So I changed plans and slashed the quilt to a usable size
then hand sewing: I of course had the ambition of the entire quilt by hand sewing - as it should be.! At the first light, the blocks were still quite good, but I soon came to my limits - both in terms of quality as well as concerned the air. That the method of sewing the Diamonds require exceptionally extensive preparatory work done to the rest. So I have now decided to send the machine to sew on. That's not all blocks, but I have plenty to choose from.
And finally, the edge: In the template there are only at the two long sides of a beautiful scallop edge. I will lead him around. For that I'll probably incorporate this small block no more.
The new design has motivated me again to work on the Diamonds continue - at least I have already two Small block machine-sewn and two other templates are ready. Furthermore, the reduction of the size advantage: It is at once already viiiieeeelllll further ;-))))
And it would be a pity if this middle piece would not be the center of a beautiful quilt ...
If I were brave now, I would give here in public, now that I sew every week a Diamond will ... but I'm not so brave! So I hope that the motivation holds up this time to make the quilt finished in the near future. I'll keep you posted!

Brazilian Laser In Ottawa
virtually on the goal line
As some of you have followed the emergence of the Jewel Box Quilts from the outset, I will also not be deprived of the quilting. I chose a simple, but - certainly very effective "model" - in my opinion. It also played a role that I, if I had quilted the areas of color, would have to use a colorless yarn, and I've made the worst possible experience. The effect of the pattern I like it, which you will then look only at the end can. For the edge I have been a perfect idea ...
Today I'll show you the quilting design I chose for my jewel box quilt. It's an easy pattern design but very effective for this. With another design, I should have sewn through the colored patches and than I should have used invisible thread and I have very bad experiences there with. I've some ideas for matching the border, too ...

Calculator All Possible Combination
kiddie
I quilt at the time the Jewel Box, there is not much new to report. But as always I have to produce even a little something in between, otherwise it would be too boring ...
My niece wanted a shoulder bag - and her wish is my command, of course! So on Friday I spent a few creative hours to sew a small bag. The application I have taken over by a figure from the net , and pattern and instructions are from this page . Actually, the bag is intended to be a turning pocket, but also so that's great, because so all seams are on the inside. I also have them of course, sewing less - just for a five year old lady!
This time I'm quilting the Jewel-Box, so there are not so much news to tell. But in between I must produce some small things, only quilting every time is too boring!
My niece pleased me to sew her a small messenger bag, so I did on friday and saturday. The application I found here , and the patterns including a tutorial are on this site . This bag is a little bit smaller than the original because my niece is a five years old lady!
