Mit dem Internet und dem Medienverhalten von Jugendlichen beschäftigt the new edition of the journal "Politics & Education," which is published by the State Office for Political Education of Baden-Württemberg (LPB). Four modules offer teachers different approaches to treat the subject for teaching and to encourage an appropriate and critical use of media.
Besides an overview of the "digital revolution" various aspects of data protection are highlighted. The global media power of Google is including in the context of the current debate about "Google Street View" questions. Moreover, the responsibility of search engines in total addressed. Under the heading "Democracy 2.0 A separate module is devoted to the democratic potential of the Internet.
