UfO landed

Tonight landed in my living room is a UFO - about 5 years after it was lost somewhere in the depths of my patchwork universe! Here it is:

At that time I started this quilt as an exercise: I worked the first time, Paper Piecing, made the first time bias stripes and processed and the gelieselt first time. But I'm quilting then failed, and so it was a UFO! Since I now have enough exercise, so the quilt has now its final touches and I get to my "oldest" UFO have been processed - this year, I had made myself! Size of the quilt: 1.50 x 1.50 m.

This quilt was my oldest unfinished object! 5 years ago I started this quilt as a tutorial for myself: First time I did paper piecing, bias stripes and the hexagons. But when I tried to quilt it, I broke down and became so my quilt on UFO. Now the time had come to finish it - my plan for the last days of this year! And now is the UFO landed!
